Terms of use

The agreement

By using cardcraft.date you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Content Usage Policy. If you buy an invitation, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms for the payment itself.

The service

CardCraft is a digital wedding invitation service operated from India. You choose a design, add names and ceremonies, preview a watermarked animation, then pay. After verified payment, the clean animated guest page is published immediately.

Sample invitations, music, and artwork on the site are illustrative. They are not a promise that a particular venue, couple, or ceremony will appear in your invitation.

Your account

Checkout requires a recovery email and allows an optional phone number; it does not require an account. The private management link reveals no order details until a one-time code sent to that email is verified. Account creation after payment is optional.

Orders and payment

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in Indian rupees, through Razorpay. We do not take card details on our own forms. Your original paid invitation becomes version 1. For exactly 30 days after payment, you may keep unpublished drafts and successfully publish up to three updates without changing the permanent guest slug.

Payment is complete only when Razorpay reports a captured payment and we have verified it. Closing the checkout window does not always mean you paid; use “Check payment” on your order if you are unsure. Do not pay twice for the same invitation.

What you receive

A paid order includes a permanent shareable guest link on cardcraft.date. It is available as soon as payment is verified; CardCraft does not generate or deliver a customer MP4.

The guest link is unlisted, not secret. Anyone who has the URL can open the invitation. You choose who you send it to.

Licence to you

When an order is paid, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to share that hosted guest page for your wedding through WhatsApp, email, and family groups. You may not resell the design, use it as a template for other couples, or offer CardCraft invitations as your own product.

Your details

Names, dates, venues, notes, and any other text you enter stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use them. You grant us a licence to store them, put them on the guest page and its social-preview image, and keep them as needed to run the order.

Acceptable use

Do not use CardCraft to send spam, to impersonate someone, to publish unlawful or hateful content, or to attack the service. Do not scrape templates, bypass payment, strip watermarks from unpaid previews, or share login details. We may suspend an account that breaks this.

Our work

Designs, illustrations, layout, software, and sample invitations belong to CardCraft or our licensors. Paying for an invitation does not transfer those rights. See the Content Usage Policy.

Refunds

Digital invitations are made to your names and ceremonies. If payment was captured in error, or we cannot publish the guest link, write to hello@cardcraft.date with your order reference. Approved full refunds are made through Razorpay to the original method and revoke the guest page and editing. Previewing or changing your mind after successful publication is not, on its own, a refund ground.

Availability

We aim to keep the site and guest pages available. Hosting, email, and payment providers can fail. We are not liable for delay caused by those providers, by your network, or by you sending the wrong link.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent Indian law allows, CardCraft is not liable for lost profits, lost guest replies, or indirect loss. Our total liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your home state.
